Hannah has worked at Gatehouse since and has built up strong relationships with both her clients and their pets in that time. Hannah loves seeing all the characters who come through the doors but admits she has a slight bias towards cats! Madonna lectures on exotic animal medicine and surgery, teaches clinical skills in small furries and rabbit surgery at Glasgow Vet School, is a consultant for NWL, has a diploma in parrot behaviour, has been published in peer reviewed journal, is the chair of an ethical committee for two zoological collections and was the past chair of Scottish Region of BSAVA.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs 2 GSD and 1 Husky , ferrets and parrotlet. Her Masters dissertation was a large retrospective study of canine mast cell tumours, which contributed towards gaining an MSc in Clinical Oncology with distinction. She currently works as Director of Clinical services at the University of Edinburgh. She has been a recognised specialist in Veterinary Dermatology for 20 years. She has lectured in more than 30 countries. Tim sat on the Minster Veterinary Practice practice standards committee from In he was awarded his RCVS certificate in Veterinary Cardiology, and later that year become a partner within the practice.

From Tim was a member, representing small animal, of the Westpoint Veterinary Group clinical governance committee. Esther works as a consultant for Wales and West Imaging; she has a particular interest in small animal ultrasound, and enjoys the challenge and variety of providing a visiting ultrasound service to practices in South Wales and South West England.

Duncan is currently head of the orthopaedics department at Eastcott Referrals. She has a particular interest in progressing our understanding of mitral valve disease in dogs. Since then Meghan has worked in both first opinion and referral practices and is now head nurse of a group of practices in Southampton.

Her passions include medical nursing, emergency and critical care and raising clinical standards for general practice nurses. Following this he stayed at the RVC, and in was appointed as a lecturer in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery. Having worked for the practice for 20 years, starting as a kennel assistant, she bought in to the practice in Highly experienced in the field of personal development and leadership mentoring and certified in NLP, he also works with Vet Dynamics as a mentor and practice development consultant.

She then returned to the Small Animal Hospital to complete a small animal rotating internship. Following this Eilidh completed a four year combined residency and professional doctorate program at the University College of Dublin during which time she became a recognized specialist in internal medicine. Glaswegian born and bred, she has returned to the University of Glasgow as a clinician in internal medicine.

Eilidh enjoys all aspects of small animal internal medicine but is particularly interested in endocrinology, medical neurology and feline medicine. Since then he has worked in private referral practice and is currently part of the internal medicine team at Highcroft Referrals, Bristol. Paul lectures widely across the range of internal medicine topics, however, he particularly enjoys combining his specialist knowledge with first opinion experience enabling him to provide a pragmatic approach to case work-up for first opinion practitioners.

He was a partner in a veterinary hospital practice in Edinburgh for 16 years before pursuing a residency in the American Veterinary Dental College based in Dallas, Texas.

He lives with his family and various animals in North Berwick. She moved back in to teaching at Cambridge University before returning to referral practice and now works at Northwest Veterinary Specialists. She enjoys teaching practitioners and nurses through lecturing, research presentations and papers, book chapters and visiting practices. He has lectured extensively and has published widely in many aspects of small animal medicine but his main interest is in endocrinology.

Chris then spent two hugely enjoyable years working in general practice in Suffolk before returning to Cambridge as a Resident in Small Animal Surgery. Chris is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and a member of the written examination sub-committee for the European College.

Chris is particularly interested in upper airway surgery, surgical oncology and is a member of the interventional radiography group at Willows. He has been seeing referral small animal medicine cases for the past 25 years both at university-based and private specialist practices.

Kit enjoys a flexible role, combining governance, lecturing, writing and clinic time. He is a trustee of the Wildheart Trust and Cats Protection. Tim is part of the management team of VetPartners and chairs the clinical board.

Tom has a keen interest in infectious diseases and evidence based practice. From she completed a residency in Cardiopulmonary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a year in the Cardiology Service at the University of Liverpool. During , she joined Borders Veterinary Cardiology Ltd, providing mobile cardiology referral service in Scotland. In she joined Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in Hampshire where she is a head nurse and in charge of running the Soft Tissue department.
