Twilight - Midnight Sun - Chapter 1. First Sight This was the time of day when I wished I were able to sleep. High school. Or was purgatory the right word? If there was any way to atone for my sins, this ought to count toward the tally in some measure.

After all, Bella only knows that an incredibly gorgeous boy is looking at her funny. Meanwhile, Edward is suffering through one of the most momentous days of his very long life!
I found myself thinking his words in the middle of the night and jotting down phrases he would use while I was waiting in line at the post office.
As soon as I finished my real work, I sat down and let Edward get his say. When I finished, I was truly pleased with my creation. Here was the other side of the story that no one knew.
Here was the truth of what Edward had been through. I felt like I knew my Edward even better, and I was sure his dialogue would be more insightful in future novels. The end. Exercise over. Ha ha. My mother seconded that opinion—she thinks I work too hard. And the more I wrote, the more I became convinced that Edward deserved to have his story told. The second reason that I changed my mind is a little bit silly—I just would really love to have a pretty, matching, bound version of Midnight Sun to put beside Twilight on top of my desk.

Midnight Sun: Edward’s Version of Twilight
Thanks for reading. I wondered how long it would take her to notice I was no longer following her. She usually seemed all too aware of my presence. I watched her, thrilled to see the place that had brought me so much joy was making her happy as well. I wanted her to truly take in all the beauty of my personal sanctuary before I forever changed by adding the image of myself to it. Today I was going to show her something that would make me appear far from human, and she would be afraid.
The monster rejoiced. And the vision in her head shifted again. An empty highway at night, the trees beside it coated in snow, flashing by at almost two hundred miles per hour. We were almost to the turn off onto the long drive that led to our home. Emmett, Rosalie and Jasper got out in silence; they would make Alice explain when I was gone. Alice touched my shoulder. Not a vision this time—an order.
When does Midnight Sun come out? Robert read the first 6 chapters. She wanted to show more of what he was going through. Stephanie has issued a statement saying that the writing of Midnight Sun is on hold. Midnight Sun was supposed to be out in shops in November , but due to the illegal internet leak, Stephenie Meyer was very upset and so the wrtiting was put on hold.
